ABOUT

JCG Studios KC is a collection of artists.  All studio members are dedicated to their craft and look for any opportunity to grow and create at a higher level.  In the music studio we are able to combine in many ways as an ensemble as well as promote one another as solo artists.

Joe Carignan Garcia

Guitar

I attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory under Douglas Niedt  and the Lamont School of Music under Ricardo Iznaola.  I've also had the the privilege of studying with Pepe Romero, Christopher Parkening, Manuel Barueco, Sharon Isbin, Antigoni Goni, Fred Hand, David Leisner, and Sergio and Odair Assad.

I enjoy performing a wide variety of repertoire, including classical, Spanish, tango, and folk music. Mostly, I enjoy the opportunity that chamber music provides to collaborate with other musicians.  I have performed in duets with the violin, cello, marimba, voice, piano, and guitar.  Also, string quartets, orchestras and other mixed ensembles have been the most exciting musical adventures.
